Taking advantage of the latest in digital and Internet technology, RPI is able to provide lightning-speed service at a substantial cost savings compared to standard outside transcription services, and at a fraction of the cost of employing in-house transcriptionists. Our clients dictate into either a handheld digital recorder (available from us at a discounted rate) or into a telephone via our toll-free number. We are also able to access audio files from systems such as Lanier. If you use a handheld recorder, our proprietary software (supplied at no additional charge) automatically uploads your voice files to our secure FTP site. Whichever method you use, upon receipt of your voice files, our system logs them in and uploads them to our secure Web site, where they are accessed by our expertly trained and experienced transcriptionists. Unless STAT delivery is specified, your transcribed files will be ready for you to download and print the following day. And if you wish, we can automatically fax your notes to any specified recipient(s), such as a referring physician. |
